Hearts United is the United Way

The United Way and “Style Guy” Leonard Simpson threw quite the happening party at downtown’s W Hotel. The event themed “Hearts United” featured a cocktail hour, auction items and an inspiring fashion show produced by Leonard Simpson and featuring three San Diego designers: Qadir Hamidi, Malgorzata Wieteszka-Slocumb and Jose Maria Martinez Ybarra. Among the mix were Event Chairs Tiffany and Jim Mahoney, Honorary Chair Sally Thornton and Doug Sawyer of United Way. The evening helped support abused, neglected and struggling families and youth trying to make ends meet.
