Patté Awards Applaud Theater Excellence

The 13th Annual Patté Awards were held at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter Hotel. Guests came to applaud the theatrical best of San Diego. Among the awardees was Alexis Montes, 16, of the Preuss School. Montes was the recipient of the third annual Patté Scholarship named the Dea and Osborn Hurston Award for a Promising Young Theatermaker. Attendees included Honorary Chairs Lynne and Dr. Steve Wheeler, Chair Julie Sarno, event founder Pat Launer, Karen and Don Cohn, and Sheryl and Harvey White, for whom a new theater-in-the-round at the Globe is named.
