Old Globe

Neither heavy rain nor winds kept Old Globe supporters away from a celebration of the new Conrad Prebys Theatre Center in Balboa Park. The center incorporates the flagship Old Globe Theatre with a four-level new building housing the Karen and Donald Cohn Education Center, Hattox Hall, the Viterbi Family Lobby, the Donald and Darlene Shiley Terrace, and the very popular Lady Carolyn’s Pub. Guests included actors Marion Ross and Paul Michael. All enjoyed cocktails, dinner and a special performance by Broadway’s South Pacific stars Kelli O’Hara and Paulo Szot. They were accompanied by a live orchestra with Ted Sperling conducting.
