Don’t let June gloom get you down

Don’t let the gray weather of June, or any other month, get you down. Freshen up your home with a splash of color. A change of color is the perfect way to bring new life to a room.
Use an accent color on the walls and sprinkle more into the room with a throw, decorative pillows, a vase or other accessory and plenty of fresh flowers.
Spring into a new season with the use of pattern. Mix small- and large-scale patterns on various elements such as a large floral pattern and a small stripe on different accent pillows. Bring in a larger stripe on an area rug. Don’t be afraid to mix, while remembering to let one pattern "take the lead.”
